i grew up with alfred jodocus kwak, whose characters ( designed by harald sieperman ) were animals set in a human world, this new beautifully illustrated french comic book 'blacksad' takes me back to that time. I need to get back into my watercolours... more images at characterdesign.blogspot.com.
